I popped in for a quick lunch, and Indigo took great care of me. The burger, as usual, was delicious, and the fries were hot and crispy. If you haven't tried their honey mustard, I highly recommend it. Heavy's is consistently excellent and a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner.

This is my go to burger place in Charleston. They have the best burger and onion rings in the city. From start to finish this place is the best. They have their own parking which is a must in Charleston. They are a bit north of downtown Charleston so it's removed from that crowd but a great locals place. Staff are wonderful and make the best cocktails. A great burger joint with a full bar and great beer selections. We'll continue stopping in.

Every visit is better than the last! BarBurger was so flavorful, smashed with crispy edges and perfectly finished with American cheese. Onion rings were also so good. Crispy, crunchy, served with Heavy's sauce and BBQ sauce on the side. Emma was so great! Very patient, nice, and helpful. Greeted upon arrival. Nice bar-like atmosphere. (Minus one star bc a side of honey mustard was $1 extra!)

Fantastic burger and fries! We swung by after a day of shopping for a late lunch. Parking is easy as they have a free lot which is always nice downtown - it is a bit bumpy as a heads up and there is also street parking. The staff were all super nice and helpful. We sat outside on the deck. They have a ton of local beer on tap and make good sweet tea. We both got the bar burgers and fries - so well made. The fries are crispy and salty!

The sandwiches/burgers come with additional expenses if you want fries, sweet potato fries, a salad or chili for an extra 4 or 5 dollars. Soft drinks are also an additional $4. This could add up quickly for a large group. The onion rings were good but not really needed with the amount of food you get. The portion sizes are large. The staff were friendly. The food was definitely fresh and not frozen. Every thing was hot and homemade. The chili was exceptional. These are smash burgers. The buns are sesame buns. Plenty of beer and cocktail options. Plenty of parking if you get here early.

Heavy's is one of the newer sports to open downtown Charleston. We came with a group 5 friends after work on a Friday for happy hour. The happy hour special was a $5 margarita and I ordered a smash burger with fries. The food came out quick and it was good enough. Probably not the best burger in town, but a good option for a quick bite downtown. The greatest item I tried on the menu was the oreo Icre cream cake which was really good to share and super yummy. Convenient location close to downtown but not quite downtown, so you get parking .

My brother is pretty obsessed with every burger in Charleston, so we went to check out the latest hype. Overall, this burger was quite delicious. I enjoyed how the smash burger had an exterior layer that was larger than the bun. The location of Heavy's is decent; there's parking, and the place is small enough that you feel like you're eating an exclusive burger. Atmosphere-wise, the place was PACKED for a Wednesday, and as newcomers, it was difficult to understand how the seating worked. I wish there had been a small sign saying, "Sit at any clean spots," because the groups around us rushed to dirty tables. I truly felt bad for the bussers; it must be frustrating to clean tables that new guests are sitting at. Ugh! Nevertheless, the burger was delicious, and the only reason I give it a 4 is that I'm very picky about burgers. My bun was a bit soggy, making it hard to grab, and my favorite burger in the world is Black Out Burger. However, when I'm in the area and need a burger, I'll definitely come here again!

Love it! Morrison Drive eatery. Caylee was GREAT! Always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We've come back quite a few times. Each and every time was great. Great drinks and food. Never too loud just right. Plenty of parking on street or in lot.

On the eve of 4th of July, and the vision of hamburgers and hotdogs dancing in my mind, I thought back to the amazing cheeseburger I had at Heavy's! In the old Tattooed Moose location, Heavy's is blessed with a side parking lot which is always a fantastic find downtown. Sit inside or out, I was there for a networking meeting with two B2B contacts. It was hot so we sat inside. I went straight for their famous Barburger; a Double Patty, American Cheese, Sliced Tomato, Lettuce, Pickles, and Heavy's Sauce. I minused the raw red onions. This grilled smashburger is perfect. The crispy edges are what you want in a smashburger. The quality meat is seasoned perfectly. And the crinkly fries came out hot and perfectly fried. I wish I would have ordered a side of the Heavy's sauce to dip my fries into. The two guys I was with both ordered the special: a prime rib sandwich. Both finished them and said it was delicious. If a smashburger is what you crave, run don't walk down to Heavy's!
